I handle Origin fine, though it’s not terrible. However, uPlay isn’t something I use. I won’t pay Ubisoft until they fix things. I only have access because someone gave me a code for a free copy of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Steam is my top choice for digital PC games.

My friend, Ubisoft seems to have dropped after Sims 3—the last solid game. uPlay is really buggy, the site keeps throwing errors when I try to fix things; I’m nervous about paying for another script issue. Steam Trading Cards are impressive, and soon they’ll turn into Steam boxes, possibly shaking up the console scene. VAC is great. The uPlay and Origin clients look like they were built with Visual Basic by someone who watched a few YouTube tutorials.

When a title isn't available on Steam, I'll seek alternatives by downloading it illegally.

This group avoids illegal activities. I don’t necessarily share your views, but I’m also not opposing them outright.

Likely most uPlay titles are actually on Steam, which is why I prefer that platform. The main benefit of Steam or uPlay is having everything in one place, making things much easier. It really undermines the value of keeping so many games separate.

Would you prefer buying them more often? No. Would you play them? Yes. I really don’t like uPlay—it looks good but doesn’t quite function the way I expect. Actually, I enjoy Origin, though it lacks some helpful features.

I own more titles on Origin than on Steam... (due to games available at the house, of course). But Origin isn't too bad for me. It's just a decent option. People probably have different views, and I don’t really understand Uplay.

I understand. I still favor Steam, though. And of course, to the OP.

Origin isn't that terrible compared to uPlay, yet it's far from matching Steam in quality.
