You're considering upgrading your motherboard for better performance. Given the low quality of your current Ryzen 2600 and B450 board, you're looking at options like X470 or B550 AORUS PRO. I should check if these models support Zen+ and have Wi-Fi capabilities.
1. What kind of motherboard are you using now?
2. Would it be better to invest in a high-quality B450 rather than spending on a B550 without seeds?
I understand they aren't officially backed, but two individuals used zen+ on their b550 and didn’t need extra work. I’m curious if this is just a few cases or common. My b450 Aorus Elite is the only model I’ve seen like that, though most are very expensive here.
You're right to question! Let me know if you'd like me to clarify or adjust anything.
Likely the issue appears on most X570 boards after the chipset reaches about 60°C.
It might be that I checked the details and some users experience a reduced RPM setting under specific temperatures, while others run at full speed continuously. Could be incorrect.
It's very flimsy and I didn't like how much it had bent when I was putting memory in it. I was building a pc for a customer and they had x470 the build quailty was so much better, PCB was way thicker etc. Plus if I can get upradeability with b550 I'll take it. (whats the point of swapping b450 with b450 or x470) I dont want to upgrade now to 3600 it's not significant performace boost, but b550 would give me future upgradability and better build quaility. If anyone has zen+ and b550 and it works for them just post here I just want to see if it its isolated case or not. Thank you in advance.
