No one has much info about WTFast yet. People are asking if it really works for better ping and less lag, and whether anyone had negative experiences. I'm not sure if it's worth downloading just to see if it affects my connection. Also, I'm wondering where to post this question—should it be in the gaming forum or somewhere else?

I don’t rely on those ping boost tools. They just adjust the game connection priority, something you could handle more effectively with your router, and it won’t always work as expected.
We've all tried the free version and it worked fine. I managed to lower my ping in certain games by around ten points—probably a guess.

It's a joke, I understood it, but it only made my ping go up further. From 120 to 170 in the League of Legends EUW
I receive about 85 ping to Washington TF2 servers while getting around 45 ping on Virginia servers.
