Without power, the PC remains inactive.
Hello, I’ve just installed a new build and am facing a power issue. When I switch the power on and off, the motherboard’s RGB lights activate in a color pattern and the AIO display also turns on. But the rest of the system remains without any power. Could you help me out? Thanks.
Check if the power supply pins are correctly linked on both sides and confirm they appear in all adapters.
Hello, I remember seeing that compatibility could be a problem with the motherboard and CPU. I installed the newest BIOS update and ran an update using the BIOS utility on the motherboard. When I tried to boot, the same issue persisted. Your advice was helpful.
Activate the device by pressing the power button on the case.
First, verify that your power button is properly connected to the motherboard. The jumper pins are small, and in my previous projects they often proved tricky to locate accurately. Once confirmed, we proceed with tracing the power sources. The motherboard powers up, indicating the 24-pin connector should be fine. Then we focus on the CPU power cable—either 4 or 8 pins—ensuring it’s securely connected to both the motherboard and the correct port on the power supply unit. This should help determine if the issue lies with power delivery or the on/off switch.
