For a Windows Phone user: Return soon? You’ve got a year left, but those files are still there… The biggest joke of the decade is that Microsoft should just stop lying and provide a real estimate or a progress indicator.

It's even worse when the Wi-Fi turns off completely and fails to work properly, then restarts without fixing the issue. Ugh!

Sure, there are many solutions that could fix this quickly, but since the person asking is only using the built-in tool, it seems they might not have one available. Maybe my guess was incorrect.
