I updated the firmware from 2015 to the latest version in 2018 without making any changes. I collected all drives but didn’t assist further. I replaced the RAM with an older model (16GB original), yet the motherboard still lacks debug LEDs. There seems to be no way to capture a boot log or run a memory test.

I don't have anything like that. Maybe I'll look for a new CMOS battery soon.

No changes made. I couldn't unplug the monitor since then I wouldn't know if it started up.

Yes, someone has more ideas. What would you like to explore?

Did you swap the CMOS battery? It seems like the disk controller might be malfunctioning or lacking power, so consider checking the motherboard or power supply unit. The SSD might be fine, but a failing hard drive could cause problems—crystal disks should display an error. If the disk manager only affects Windows, the HDD controller drivers might be the issue.

Disconnect the D: drive during testing to observe the outcome.

I replaced the CMOS battery because the old one was dead, but it didn’t fix anything. I also figured out that shutting down doesn’t work, only restarting does. It seems the issue might be with the motherboard rather than the PSU. I’ll check it if I can find a cheap used one for my 6700k. Thanks for the advice!
