So I just upgraded my CPU and Motherboard and after doing so the computer only read my m.2 drive and not my other 2ssds. They don't show up in device manager nor disk management. But they do show up in BIOS. I don't know if this is an issue or not but in device manager my Serial ATA controller said it had no drivers and I try to install them and I cant figure out how. All the sata ports are enabled in bios. All i want is to use my SSD's that was working fine before the upgrade. In the disk drive picture it shows my thumb stick and m.2 im supposed to have 2 ssds aswell. CPU - Intel Core i7 13700k Motherboard - z790 S Wifi DDR4 rev 1.1 (Bios version F3) Ram - 2x8gb DDR4 Gskill trident z 16cl 3600mhz Graphic Card - Nvidea Geforce RTX 2060 Operating System - Windows 11 24h2 version 64bit Power Supply - 600W 80+ Gold Thermaltake

Visit the manufacturer's website for your motherboard. Select support, then drivers and downloads. Manually install the drivers for the board. This should cover all necessary steps.

I've tried before, gigabyte's driver came with its own update tool, but it didn't resolve the issue.

I also attempted this, but each time I download I encounter the same error. After changing compatible settings, it still occurs.

Hey there! It seems like you're having trouble with the 7zip installation. The issue might be related to the self-extracting file. You can visit https://7-zip.org/download.html for the latest version. Consider installing 7zip using the "64-bit Windows x64" option and ensure it's updated. If needed, skip the bloatware from Gigabyte and install drivers separately. Let me know if you need more help!

I saved what you mentioned, but the gigabyte is automatically taking over the system and there’s no escape from it—it just continues to fail. The 7z setup is still not working properly.

It's accurate even when downloading separate drivers. Reinstalling Windows might help. Was the CPU used? It could be damaged and causing issues.

Visiting the gigabyte site and clicking to install drivers one by one causes the download to start with a 7z setup, but it fails to install properly and produces errors. The new CPU has never been used before, yet the system functions smoothly and runs well—except for the inability to use the SSD.

You've cleared out your system completely, removing all files and performing a clean setup from the cloud.
