Windows doesn't recognize SSDs properly.
So I just upgraded my CPU and Motherboard and after doing so the computer only read my m.2 drive and not my other 2ssds. They don't show up in device manager nor disk management. But they do show up in BIOS. I don't know if this is an issue or not but in device manager my Serial ATA controller said it had no drivers and I try to install them and I cant figure out how. All the sata ports are enabled in bios. All i want is to use my SSD's that was working fine before the upgrade. In the disk drive picture it shows my thumb stick and m.2 im supposed to have 2 ssds aswell. Visit the manufacturer's website for your motherboard. Select support, then drivers and downloads. Manually install the drivers for the board. This should cover all necessary steps.
Hey there! It seems like you're having trouble with the 7zip installation. The issue might be related to the self-extracting file. You can visit https://7-zip.org/download.html for the latest version. Consider installing 7zip using the "64-bit Windows x64" option and ensure it's updated. If needed, skip the bloatware from Gigabyte and install drivers separately. Let me know if you need more help!
Visiting the gigabyte site and clicking to install drivers one by one causes the download to start with a 7z setup, but it fails to install properly and produces errors. The new CPU has never been used before, yet the system functions smoothly and runs well—except for the inability to use the SSD.
You've cleared out your system completely, removing all files and performing a clean setup from the cloud.
