It's curious. The updates aren't installing this AMD driver patch, just the general upgrade above it. When checking the history and removing updates, I don't see the AMD driver listed—it looks like these are system updates instead. And it keeps freezing... I'm really frustrated and worried.
Open Device Manager and verify the presence of the AMD driver. Also, examine your Intel HD Graphics settings under "Driver" – the "Roll Back Driver" option should be disabled.
