Windows becomes unresponsive following a graphics driver issue.
Check the desktop background or system tray to see if it shows a repair icon. Safe Mode typically displays a different interface, so you can confirm by looking for those visual cues.
Check if you can access the login screen. If yes, tap the power button located at the bottom right of the screen and hold the shift key while pressing "Restart." This should refresh the system and bring you to a menu where you can enter safe mode.
The system remains frozen again because of the AMD driver setup, meaning I’ll have to run more power cycles to possibly activate the auto diagnostics feature or display the troubleshooting options.
Entered safe mode with networking. Need to install DDU and remove the AMD driver. Should I also figure out how to prevent Windows from downloading it again?
Check the driver settings, then go to Update & Security, view the update history, select Uninstall updates, and remove the problematic update. This should prevent Windows from installing that update again.
