Absolutely confirmed! The speed remains accurate 100% after a warm restart.

Are there any systems with energy-saving features already in place? I'm also interested in the BIOS adjustments Jarsky referenced.

I'm curious about its connection to Windows' hybrid boot feature. Checking that page could help clarify things.

Did you switch to power saver or balanced power plan in Windows? It caused issues when I overclocked my G3258, but it worked consistently even after restarts. The high performance setting vanished once I chose that option.

I've already tried that but it doesn't work. I'm reaching the point of giving up—this was meant for a secondary build, like an internet or movie setup, so a fast CPU isn't necessary. Learning to overclock it was enjoyable, and now I realize stability is more important than peak speed. I have an i5-4460 for actual use and I've locked it to prevent any changes. Thanks!

It seems like there might be an issue with the BIOS/UEFI settings.

Under Linux Mint and Ubuntu, as well as Windows 10, the issue doesn't occur. Could you clarify your concerns about the BIOS/UEFI problem? I'm here to help further.
