Windows 8.1 choices.
Hello! You're wondering which Windows version fits your needs best. When you saw two versions of Windows 8.1 at Best Buy, it can be tricky to decide. The main differences lie in features and pricing—non-OEM options tend to be more costly. I don’t have a definitive answer, but based on what you shared, the System Builder (OEM) seems like a solid choice. If you want something with more built-in tools and support, that might be worth considering. Let me know if you'd like more details or help comparing specific features!
The standard option now works without the old 16GB RAM restriction that affected the 7 model. The top choice remains 64-bit.

Downloaded Windows 8.1 from G2a for a friend's PC. Purchased directly from the site to install. https://www.g2a.com/windows-8-profession...lobal.html. In reality, once you begin using it, it feels quite solid compared to other options.
It seems the 8.1 system builder 64bit OEM is the best choice. Windows licenses for this version are confirmed to be <insert abbreviation> and they usually last one or two years. Microsoft also stated that G2A isn’t an authorized reseller for Windows keys and doesn’t provide support or backup for G2A licenses.
Don’t you think you should purchase it from G2A? https://www.g2a.com/windows-8-profession...lobal.html It’s very affordable and I’ve experienced no issues.
