You're facing a common issue with older systems and driver compatibility. The problem might stem from outdated drivers or hardware mismatches. Try updating your device drivers for the HP Stream 11, or consider using a virtual machine if direct installation remains problematic. If needed, consult Microsoft support for Windows 7-specific solutions.

It doesn't change much, just brings you back to the beginning of the setup. I'll show an image of the error soon.

Images work well. In the meantime, consider trying Windows 9. It offers all the advantages of Win10 without any downsides, and its interface feels just like Win7. I personally enjoy it. No live tiles, no tracking data, no hidden surveillance—just a clean experience.

That seems to be a misunderstanding. Windows 7 won't end of support in three months—it will reach its end of life around 2024 or later depending on updates.

It's not necessary to switch platforms; you can keep using Windows 7 on your current setup.

The error indicates missing device drivers. Ensure all installation media include the proper drivers, then proceed to click OK.

According to HP's website, the installation uses USB 2.0. You're likely installing Windows 7 from a USB drive. To proceed, download all necessary drivers for your laptop, unpack them, and when the error appears again, click "OK," then "Browse" and select each driver until Windows accepts them.
