Find someone who can convert a Windows 7 CD into an ISO file. Use the removal tool for Windows 7, then burn it to a DVD. This gives you a universal installation disk covering all Windows 7 versions from OEM to retail.

Yeah when ever i have went to the windows site to download the Version i have needed in the past and used the product key on the bottom of the laptop it has always kicked it back as it has to be a Copy you specifically purchased and not pre installed on the system which is annoying as like you said your typing in a legit key that the laptop is already using i think they do that to try to limit people using thoses keys on other devices besides the intended ones but sucks for the end user

Can you simply burn it onto your DVD or CD disk? Or is it better to use a USB drive instead? (I’m having the same issue and looking for a fix!)
