I chose to reinstall Windows 7 on my older computer, but it became stuck during the setup process. It took around 25 minutes before it finally completed. What should I do to help it finish?

I'm using a digital installation method—either a CD or USB drive. If it's USB, I created it using a software tool.

The issue was slow performance or frequent crashes. Are there other storage options available for installation?

I'm using the same disc I used to reinstall Windows 7 last year and it worked fine.

I also received a new computer and handed it over to my brother; it functions well, but I just wanted to gift him a brand-new machine.

HDD? It seems to be very full, over 80%. It appears the drive could have issues. This marks the early signs of a failing HDD.

You're unsure about handling the situation. Since you need to leave soon, consider whether leaving it could help prevent issues or if restarting is better. Forcing a restart might not be ideal.
