Windows 10 "Walks The Plank"
My fellow forum members, what I've heard lately is that Windows 10 is a lot of questionable software that monitors your activities. I wasn't too concerned (I never paid for that "oh noes my privacy" package). My main files are personal stuff like family pictures, and as a young adult, those are the most important. The real value here is my hidden assets—my secret stash (IYKWIM). I found some useful links about it: - - But this discussion really affected my mood. It might have made me reconsider going back to the Eight Point One island. With my pirate attitude (some of you might not agree and have solid points, but I can't afford every $60 when the country stops funding upgrades for real adults), I usually wait until prices drop. I already have a lot of games on Steam (78 titles) and they're not cheap indies. Eventually you'll need to switch to a newer version. In my case, I didn't want Windows 8 and used Windows 7, so an update was necessary.
They don’t have to have it if they want it. Just get Windows 10 if needed.
I have reduced the settings for various reasons such as using a functional optical drive and ensuring proper GPU drivers are installed.
