I'll give it a go. I saw the update again and at 30% it caused a blue screen, mentioning Memory Management as the issue. I cleared any external storage on my RAM and restored all settings, but the problem persists. Should I consider a fresh installation?

Additionally, the assistant indicates your PC isn't compatible. Update 1709 continues to cause issues, as noted.

If that doesn't work, try the Windows Media Creation tool and proceed with the upgrade. Be aware it may still display the same error or a "Something happened" message.

Used the updater, it worked as expected and restarted successfully. Still seeing blue screens at 20% with memory issues. Feels like a complete reinstall.

If you're not using any antivirus software or depend solely on Windows Defender, this can lead to problems. It's better to turn off Windows Defender and run scans with Avast, Panda, or another antivirus, along with a Malwarebytes check and a System File Checker scan, just to ensure everything is secure.
