I just got a laptop and tried to install an antivirus. I downloaded the program and ran it... We can’t run this... WHAT! I clicked a few options and realized unverified programs aren’t allowed. Then I remembered the ‘Windows S’ video on TechQuckie. Eventually, I found an upgrade to Pro (free), which worked out. Still, Windows S is problematic... but it doesn’t bother me much. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Windows 10 S is designed for everyday users, not just tech lovers or experts. It’s perfect for simple tasks like browsing and chatting—like your grandma using Skype. This makes it safe for people with no experience, helping them avoid scams and malware. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

I understand. For educational purposes, you could create a simple Python IDE locally using tools like PyCharm Community Edition or Visual Studio Code with the built-in Python extension. You’d compile your scripts and run them without needing any external internet access.

Android is simpler to use. Windows offers more features, but the latest Shxt version makes it less appealing. Apart from viruses, older people usually get infected through emails, attachments, and PDFs.

You won't understand it unless you can run an x86 or x86-64 program, otherwise a virus can't do anything. You can only use content from the store.

The infected PDF and DOC files cause damage when the PC processes them, triggering scripts in the reader software and taking advantage of vulnerabilities. The best solution is to render these files unreadable, which would significantly worsen Windows 10 performance compared to iOS.

the internet is fine for learning code because in school they usually cover basics that can be practiced on web-based IDEs there are some tools available like arduino ide
