I’d rather not support Microsoft if they share their findings on Virus Total. While some see it as progress, I view it as dishonest and a lack of effort. Plus, Windows Defender in FCU has made significant improvements.
Windows 10 S focuses on providing a seamless experience without additional audio or video features alongside Windows Defender. All downloadable programs must come from the official Windows 10 Store. Each app receives approval and verification from Microsoft. To move to Windows 10 Pro, navigate through: Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Upgrade your edition of Windows > Proceed to Store. After upgrading, you won’t be able to revert, but you can mimic the setup by visiting: Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. In the top section labeled "Installing apps," choose "Allow apps from the Store only." From this point forward, any installation outside the store will be blocked, displaying similar warning messages. Programs already installed outside the store will continue to operate normally, appearing as if they originated from the Store.
