I reached out to Skytech and the general agreement is they’re either MOBO or CPU issues preventing data access. Unfortunately, I’m out of warranty which is disappointing. Thanks for checking out an eBay shop that preprograms BIOS chips and ships them affordably—I might give it a try. Now I need to locate my soldering iron and be confident I can install it properly.
I decided to upgrade my setup with a fresh MOBO, a B550 Tomahawk Max Wi-Fi, and it turned out the same issue persisted—boot loops and failure to access my USB media tool. It seems the CPU might be the culprit after some adjustments, though I’m still unsure what’s going on.
Following the swap of the MOBO and CPU, it seems the CPU was responsible for the issue.
