I have a copy of Windows 8.1 that isn't genuine, and I can easily get Windows 10 for free. If it turns out the system won't allow an upgrade and confirms it's not real, just reinstall Windows 7 (the official version) and proceed from there.
Perhaps it won't matter since I have an official Windows 7 copy. Maybe using a KMS activator doesn't affect the outcome.
I’d like Microsoft to let users install Windows 10 directly using a W7/8/8.1 activation key instead of requiring updates from that version.
It sounds like you're trying to clarify something a bit humorously. The games were definitely rough!
