I've watched several videos about Windows 10 and I must admit it appears quite impressive so far. Don't you all notice a pattern too? Windows releases strong operating systems, like Win7, then follows with less impressive ones such as Win8 (though I do enjoy Windows 8.1). Looking back at earlier versions, WinXP seemed solid, while Win Vista was poor and Win7 was better than Win8. Now we hope Win10 will improve things and deliver features that actually meet most users' needs instead of having useless functions. What are your thoughts?
The pattern swings back and forth... Observe how Windows Vista evolved into Windows 7, yet users were far more open to it. The key lies in straightforward adjustments. Generally, folks resist change. When Windows 8 arrived, they felt the shift was significant, so many resisted learning new features—even if they would benefit later. With Windows 10, there were fewer major updates, making it easier for people to adapt and embrace the new version.
I’m really excited about this. What makes it even more intriguing is DirectX12 included. I just wish everything functions smoothly and it turns out well. I really prefer Windows since I’ve been using it for a long time, so I don’t want to switch to Linux or anything else later. As I mentioned, I hope Windows 10 becomes a huge success for Microsoft.
Numerous updates in Windows 8 aren't improving everything, and the overall Metro interface feels confusing.
i came in thinking it would be god awfull and worse then vista , however ive been highly impressed with it so far for the past few months I've used it >>>quick tip , don't use the beta drivers for graphics cards that auto download when you go to update windows , they're buggy as hell<<<
