I've noticed more often my brother gets banned from R6 Siege when he's using his phone. It seems this issue has changed since it never happened before. My ping stays above 1000 and I'm kicked from any online match, even when I host myself. My router doesn't have built-in QoS settings and I can't afford to buy software. If anyone knows a free solution to fix this, please let me know—I can't play if others are on the network too.

I don't believe it'll be that simple, you'll need to manage the traffic on the router, which is typically handled via its software.

Yeah, I'm relying on a basic Uverse router that's really minimal.

Access your router's configuration via its IP address or the AT&T login portal. It seems your brother might be trying to mess with you.

It doesn't include those options at all.

Dispose of the modem from the window, then smash it with a hammer and purchase a replacement.

I wish I could, but I don’t have any funds right now or soon, and even if I did, the purchase wouldn’t be available.

Are there any old WiFi routers nearby? Did anyone in your family own one? EDIT: Reach out to your ISP (AT&T).

I understand you're wondering if moving a new router onto the same network would change the lag experience, especially when using it for your brother. The existing network issues should remain consistent, but the new router might help reduce or eliminate some of those shared problems.

Do you know which speed package is available? Many users face issues when connecting devices and syncing data to the cloud.
