I run on macOS and believe software support is adequate. Not everyone enjoys gaming, so your argument doesn’t really hold weight. This isn’t about the operating system itself. Once more, this topic is purely personal opinion. It’s one of the least constructive discussions I’ve encountered here. Have you ever used macOS? It feels like you’re fabricating a situation without evidence.

It's not as strong as Premiere, but I really prefer it—it flows better, runs faster, and the interface is top-notch. Premiere feels too busy with too many elements, making it hard to focus. I haven't really tackled advanced editing before; I mostly handle basic tasks like cutting, adding titles, and some color tweaks. Resolve also impresses me, offering a more intuitive experience similar to FCP X, which makes it simpler to work with. Premiere shines when paired with other Adobe tools or RED footage, but ultimately it comes down to personal preference and project needs.

I often realize folks still rely on computers for simple tasks, right? Makes sense, probably I’d end up with a portable laptop for trips too.

This would be far below the 1000 least useful posts I've encountered.

It's worth noting that most Mac users aren't focused on gaming. Those who do tend to have dedicated systems for that purpose. If you're looking to bypass software restrictions, macOS offers a straightforward approach. What concerns you? The performance in 3D is decent, but rendering times for videos and digital audio workstations remain poor. Macs don’t run CUDA; they use OpenCL instead. RTX cards are designed for gaming, not general use. Game developers typically use PCs regardless of the OS.

You're just starting out here, that's okay! It's normal not to know everything at first.

Adobe tools are quite simple and can be mastered in a few days. If the launch feels unclear, check out The Foundry Nuke for more guidance.

Portable refers to its current location or state. Many still use the 2012 MacBook Air regularly. That model was really built to last, far superior to later designs. I don’t think people rely on Windows ultrabooks from that era as much.
