Why my pc so slow???
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (16 cores) @ 3.700GHz
RAM: 32 GB
OS: Manjaro (Linux distribution based on KDE)
When playing games it runs smoothly, but on desktop it feels sluggish. I tried Windows too, but it was even slower. If anyone has any thoughts on why it’s so slow, please let me know—I’m not very experienced with PC parts. Thank you!
The term 'slow' refers to performance or speed issues. You're expecting results that are stable and efficient. Personally, I faced challenges with Manjaro. If you're open to exploring different distributions with arch-based or rolling release models, try endeavourOS—it's lightweight and installs quickly.
by using "slow" I mean my computer struggles to load things, taking a long time compared to my laptop which is slower but much faster. Thanks for your reply, I'll also try EndosystemOS next time when I use Windows. My CPU would be at 100% even with just one app or installing games from Steam. I had some issues with NVIDIA drivers on Manjaro but fixed them quickly. To be clear, how can I make my apps load faster without overclocking?

Sata cables connect your storage device to the hard drive, whether it's an SSD or HDD. Search for your motherboard model online to find the correct SATA ports and verify if your cable supports speeds like 6gbps. Pcie connections aren't required unless you're using a graphics card that needs extra power. When relocating the cables, watch out for BIOS settings—resetting the boot order could happen.
