Why is reinstalling Windows 11 taking forever?
Yeah, that's what i also remember. That it was really fast - at least compared to what am currently doing now. I am just not sure what the difference is from what am doing versus using a media tool and choosing to format all drives. About the cloud part. It did some downloading before the "reset/reinstall" - and that only took a few mins. Like, i believe it has done all the downloadning that was needed. But obviously not sure.
That process takes a lot of steps. It's way too complicated for me. There are so many places where things could go wrong, and I didn't check everything carefully. Maybe one of your choices is making it take longer? Any USB stick you buy needs to be at least 8 GB just like mine does.
I'm not exactly sure what happened there. I clicked "Yes" on both Clean data and Delete files from all drives. It was the same thing for me as using a media tool to format every drive. So now I have no idea why that worked. One thing is certain though: I will never do this again 🥴 Yeah, the USB stick I bought was 15 or 16GB big.
