When a player enters my view unexpectedly, I notice frame drops, and this continues through battles. Even offline in Star Craft 2, the issue persists, though less severe. It resembles gameplay at 30 FPS or lower. At the start of games, everything runs smoothly, but once minions appear or effects happen, performance drops sharply. I can replicate this in other titles too. What I attempted: - Performed a clean Windows and driver install (7 and 10 versions). Updated drivers on all hardware. Ran diagnostics and tests. - Changed PcieGen2 to PcieGen3 via patch for my board/CPU. - Consulted component and game support teams. - Fixed corrupted Windows files, checked temperatures, and verified GPU power delivery. - Reinstalled Nvidia drivers as per their recommendations. - Ran MemTest86+, SSD diagnostics, and optimized DPC latency. - Used High Fan-Speed mode in BIOS to test thermal performance. - Swapped RAM kits, moved to dual-channel instead of quad, adjusted monitor HDMI, replaced motherboard (Dell), updated CPU with new board, disabled and re-enabled page file, tried system-managed extensions. - Set power options to performance mode, disabled C-states, and kept fans at max speed. - Tested with SSD Samsung 850 evo, cleaned display drivers via DDU, and experimented with VSync settings. - Considered replacing RAM, as the issue started immediately after purchase. - Monitored temperatures consistently within safe ranges. - Noted BIOS limitations – memory timings can’t be changed software-wise. - Experienced limited changes in performance despite multiple adjustments. Are you certain you weren't using VSYNC? The main clock appears to be fluctuating. Ideally, I'd track the CPU speeds in Afterburner and rule out that as the issue, but it seems unlikely. If you often play with VSYNC, consider switching to Adaptive VSYNC via the Nvidia Control Panel.

In MSI Afterburner, when the CPU clock appears to decrease, we can connect it to GPU performance issues. I suggest adjusting your monitoring to display these details: GPU power, GPU usage, GPU core clock, GPU temperature, frame rate, frame time, CPU 0, CPU 1, CPU 2, and CPU 3 clocks. This will help us understand why stuttering happens by observing what your PC is doing simultaneously.

Here you are, I thought for a second before I said this, but it only happened once. Typically my connection is strong and clear. Anyway, what’s inside the red area is during the game. That’s the quality I managed to capture best. Check out this improved version.

I’m expecting the G.Skill trident 1600mhz 2x8gb kit soon. I recall you were in that discussion. I can’t modify this board myself, but future upgrades will be planned. For now, I’ll concentrate on minor tweaks like this. I can only do my own GPU overclocking, though it’s already been done by Gigabyte.

For now, I’ll concentrate on minor tweaks like this. I can only do my own GPU overclocking, though it’s already been done by Gigabyte.
