Those huge numbers you see on benchmark tests are just special cases that happen when everything works perfectly. They need one big data stream and many command queues to work like that. Regular file operations usually don't even get close to these extreme conditions.

I understand, but I mentioned that because I checked and found the SSD only warmed up to around 60 degrees Celsius during my tests, so there was no problem with heat.

Short time of computer chip means it's coming later... I won't wait ten minutes to see the graphics card first, then the processor last... a nice combination...

I tried running the test, so I took some time to do other things instead. To compare things, my CPU scores around 21,000 when testing with Cinebench R23.

It wasn't popular when it came out, so they probably didn't make as many units as you'd expect. This price tag feels way too high. Nobody should spend this kind of money on a computer part alone. Just the CPU would have cost around $300 back then.

I never really knew that card existed until someone told me about it recently. If AMD released the 7800XT, I'd get so confused because it seems like such a big leap from my old stuff.

Back then, it was me too. We were probably talking about the 7800XT. They went crazy with that card and put an XT everywhere instead of just using it for GPUs. I hope they aren't doing this again.

You just want to know there will be a 7900xtx chip soon. If the 7800xt chip actually gets made, I can imagine someone putting it in their PC along with another 7800xt graphics card.

Some laptop brands name all their computers with the exact same number. It is confusing because if you search by that code, many different models show up. In fact, there are often seven or more laptops sharing one code. Finding the right one is difficult. Even when they do use this trick, it's not every single year.
