OSX is built on BSD, which they fundamentally modified. Absolutely, there’s a lot more beyond Windows, OSX, and Linux to explore.

I prefer Linux Mint, Windows 95/98/XP/Vista/8.1/10, and OSX Mountain Lion. These were the ones I found most enjoyable to study and use over time.
