Viruses typically come as .exe files meant for regular users. Linux doesn’t use this format, making it resistant to such threats. But any malware aimed at Linux will still target a Linux machine if the person isn’t informed.

The ease of modification is the main factor. iPhones are more resistant to infection since apps run in a sandbox, though they still consume a significant share. System quality plays a crucial role too.
