Dark Soul 3 was my debut in this genre, and I faced the first boss twenty or more times. My hair fell out, I slammed the table, yelled at the screen, and nearly flung my keyboard and mouse around the room. After 27 attempts, I finally beat the initial boss.
You’re aware of something surprising? I’m playing a Knight character and have lost more than 50 times. Yet when I tried the Pyromancer, I defeated him on my first attempt because I could deal damage from afar instead of being forced to face his massive cleaver head-on. It’s wild how much easier one class can be compared to another.
