The cables are solid, I’m confident the GPU is secure and I have auto input selection. Since I used dp, I might switch to hdmi tomorrow. I attempted pressing f8 during boot, but the screen remains blank with a "no signal" message.
Is there a DVI connection on the monitor? Both DPI and HDMI require a handshake between the sending and receiving devices for them to work. Without this exchange, nothing occurs. With HDMI, it's usually just plugging in at the PC to get recognized. DVI doesn't have these limits, making it more dependable.
