You transferred your Train Simulator folder from the C drive to the S drive. When trying to move the Steam install folder, it keeps rejecting it. Steam seems to ignore the changes on the C drive but continues working on the DLC on the S drive. It’s updating again now, and it’s not working as expected. I’m really confused—can you tell me what’s happening?

No, I didn't add the S drive to Steam's library folders.

The game doesn’t have an in-game option for download locations. It seems this feature isn’t available in current titles, unlike some older games.

Consider removing it from the C drive. After reinstalling, set the S drive as the installation spot and it should recognize existing items while performing only required updates. Make sure to back up any crucial files like savegames before proceeding.

In your library, right-click the game, choose properties, then go to "Local Files," and select "Move Install Folder." Pick another Steam library location.

It isn't accessible to all users currently, including myself.

I updated your entry, it appears in the "Local Files" section. The game needs to be installed for it to appear.

When you transfer a Steam game outside the official app interface, locate its matching manifest file. This lets Steam recognize the installation.

I understand, but that choice isn't available to me.
