Why call of duty games suck!
many players use i3's, phenoms, or i7 950 models doesn't imply they're bad. it's not about needing a new rig just because others seem stronger. that logic is silly—it's like insisting you need a $2000 PC just because someone plays for two hours daily. Why let gaming enjoyment suffer over how much time someone spends online? A lot of forum users run 460s, which still perform well—about a third of a 780, and they've spent years on that system without complaining. Call of Duty: AW isn't on my list of "poor" games; I'm quick to point out bad engines like Skyrim without modern updates. World of Tanks is still stuck with no support for dx11, and Trine2... well, it's a side-scroller and runs poorly. Minecraft Java is fine for me, but others care more about performance. Heavier single-threaded titles from 2010 onward are rare, thankfully. DayZ: AW looks better and runs smoother, though it's more demanding. It's a VRAM hog, but not like WatchDogs—just a bit of strain if you have enough RAM (3.7GB at 1080p is manageable). I don't understand why it needs so much VRAM; loading into VRAM instead of RAM was just a mistake. The game runs okay even then. It's still playable if you have the right specs.
had fun with my phenoms and your GPU is essentially a 480 (fair play friend). The ops system has a really fragmented hard drive, so we’ll need to recheck it. I’m sure you can handle it well, but I think you’re aware of what he means about the performance demands and high requirements. When you list system requirements generally, it doesn’t really apply here. In fact, the specs seem pretty reasonable, but they don’t match the game’s look and play style. It’s like saying Minecraft needs a core i5/phenom and GTX570 and above—it makes sense if you have those specs, but why would it need them? That’s the main point I’m trying to make.
The game performs well on maximum settings, though I think the high demands aren't justified. Blops 2 can run at its peak on my system while I use AW at lower or normal levels. He makes a good case that it should work smoothly if he meets the basic requirements, but those are just minimums. I play on an SSD, but I've heard friends experience freezing in the menu. On the other hand, they max it on a 270x drive.
