That’s the reason I consistently recommend purchasing at least a 2 terabyte hard drive. The game Hitman 2 requires approximately 90 gigabytes, and a one terabyte drive would be insufficient for storing numerous video games.

The issues we frequently experience on personal computers stem largely from the shortcomings of current console technology. It is hoped that this upcoming generation will finally address these problems, bringing consoles closer in performance to lower-powered gaming PCs and preventing console coding practices from negatively impacting PC gameplay.

Even when gaming platforms deflect responsibility by citing games unavailable on personal computers, they face criticism from PC players. 😂

This approach is being applied across all games; I simply copied the initial link from Google, which happened to be concerning Spider-Man. Furthermore, they are evidently discussing its impact on any game released on the PS5 – the article's title states: “The PlayStation 5’s SSD Could Reduce Game File Sizes.”

Yeah I get it, read the article. What does this have to do with PC games? Why is my file size for Hitman 2 twice the size as the console versions? Am I supposed to somehow blame this on a console when I have it installed on an SSD?
🤔

Despite an initial file size of just 60 GB for the PlayStation 4 releases, some individuals are incorrectly blaming the consoles themselves for this difference, which I find perplexing.

That’s logical. The computer edition offers settings for increased texture quality and related features which consume storage.

Similarly, the console counterpart offers this feature within certain titles. These games frequently include settings for elevated resolutions, however, they often remain considerably smaller in file dimensions compared to their computer counterparts. I believe this is primarily attributable to the fact that these games are inherently simpler to refine for consoles, largely because developers receive dedicated development hardware from the manufacturers. Nevertheless, proponents of personal computers assign blame solely to consoles. It seems they operate under a completely different set of assumptions, engaging in extensive mental maneuvers to deflect responsibility onto console platforms.
