4070TI versus 4090 is nearly a thousand dollars; save that amount and consider getting a 5070TI when it launches. I believe it's better to upgrade regularly and spend the same budget rather than trying to future-proof everything. When the 5070TI arrives, you could sell your 4070TI and pair it with the saved money, possibly securing a 5080 model.

Sorry for the delayed response, but will 5070ti release soon because it will take years. The 40 series is still new in the market, and I won’t upgrade my PC with such a large amount of money in the future. The reason I want to maximize is clear—did you get my point?

What is the display resolution and refresh rate of your monitor? Which kinds of games do you enjoy playing?

I intend to purchase either an RTX 4090 or a 4080 and need to confirm if Corsair RM1000e can handle it or if it should bear the additional load.

I use a 1440p 240hz monitor and experience storymode and demanding titles such as Cyberpunk: The Chaser 3. I also wanted to check if the Corsair RM1000E is compatible with RTX 4090.

From a performance standpoint, either card is a solid option, though not the most affordable. Regarding the RM1000e, I lack sufficient details about its build quality; it could be a decent pick, but confirmation from a PSU specialist would be ideal. A top-tier 1000W model would suffice.

My setup uses a 3080 for 1440p at 240Hz—it meets the requirements without being overly powerful. If the 4080 had been more reasonably priced, I might have upgraded, but at its current cost, the performance improvement doesn’t justify it. Given my budget, I’d prefer a larger performance boost and may delay switching to the 5000 series unless there’s a significant discount on a 4080 this year.

The 4090 is unaffordable for me right now; it would be too costly compared to upcoming models that offer better value and could surpass it soon. It seems like a poor investment, especially considering its depreciation in value by then.

It all hinges on your budget and the overall setup. Unless you're using a 13700k or above with a 75Hz+ 4k display, a 4090 would be excessive.

what would happen if you purchase a 4080, beginning at 1,13,000 rupees (£1132.23), and the 4090 at 158,000 rupees (£1583.31)?

From a technical standpoint, I believe a high-quality 850W power supply should suffice for the 4090 unless you make specific adjustments. However, when using 1440p resolution, it might be excessive for most games.

it will be future-proof for you since you can upgrade your monitor later. so is the rm1000e a good choice?
