I'm excited about purchasing the RTX 4080 or 4090. What PSU will be ideal? I have my attention on two options, the Corsair Rm1000x and the NZXT C1000. Which one performs better, or should I consider another brand that offers much better efficiency? Thank you.

I own a Corsair 1000 RXM. It functions perfectly. Provides ample power for my 3080. Corsair produces reliable PSUs.

The RMX 1000 watt should work well.
Waiting a bit after the new shift ATX models could become available later (though not essential)

unless you require top performance at 4k resolution, it seems unnecessary, and their cost is excessive unless you profit from them.
what makes you believe you need one?
why do you feel this is important for you?

Also cast your vote for the RM1000X, but be sure to grab the new 12-pin cable if it's missing.

It's just that they fit within my budget and I'm aiming to use them fully this time 😅 For the first time ever. I won't have another opportunity to upgrade my PC.
