After reviewing a lot of information, I’m still unsure about what to choose. I sold my previous GPU and now need a replacement. I plan to play games in 4K using RT on an AW255QF with a Ryzen 9 7950X3D, T-Force Vulcan 32GB at 6000MHz, Samsung 980 Pro, and a 1k PSU. I was thinking of getting a 5080, but in Canada the only option would cost around $3K, which is too expensive. So I can opt for an MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus X3 OC, an Asus TUF Gaming 5070 Ti, or the Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX for about $500-600 less. For roughly $500-600 less, I could also get the 9070 XT—but will that be sufficient for 4K gaming with RT? I read somewhere suggesting you can overclock the 7900 XTX to reach 5080 performance, but wouldn’t it be easier to just use a 5070 Ti instead? I tried an RX 7900 XTX with my monitor and couldn’t get adaptive/free sync working, so maybe Nvidia is the better choice. There are many factors involved, lol.
Should I go with AMD instead of Nvidia because I lose G-Sync and can’t have FreeSync functioning properly?
If I choose AMD, in several benchmarks on Game Nexus the 7900 XTX performs better than the 9070 XT, but then I won’t be able to use FSR 4.
If I stick with Nvidia, is it safe to purchase a 5070 Ti? I’m aware some cards have power connection problems.

If you can find the RX 9070 XT at or near its MSRP, it's worth considering; it performs better than the RTX5070/RTX5070Ti. However, if locating one in stock is difficult or expensive, switching to the RX 7900 XT might be a better option.
Is choosing AMD over Nvidia really that significant because I lose G-Sync and can't have FreeSync functioning?

The PSU is a Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000w, around four years old, and I believe it was used in safe mode.
Regarding the 9070, do you think it's superior to the 7900 XTX and the 5070 Ti?

Everyone's 9070 XT is now priced at $1200, and I just spotted an MSI RTX 5070 Ti 16G Vanguard SOC Launch Edition for the same amount, so I went ahead and bought that one. After receiving it, I plan to run several tests to see if I can keep it. I also have a friend who will order a 9070 XT, which will let me compare.
The 9070 xt delivers the same performance as the 7900 xt, as shown in the YouTube video and the 3Dmark timespy graph. It uses less VRAM compared to the 7900 xtx, but I believe the 9070 xt offers better performance in RT.depending on the situation. When using clear logic, the 9070 xt is a great option because its 16GB VRAM should be sufficient for gaming.

I believe the decision was correct based on the prices at the time. The 5070 Ti stands out as the best option at the same cost as the 9070 XT. Hey, the 9070 xt is actually quicker than the 5070 ti. It comes with a better power connector and its graphics performance is distinct.
I found out the MSI RTX 5070 Ti 16G Vanguard SOC Launch Edition I ordered on Amazon.ca was a scam, so the order was canceled. They will take up to 48 hours to refund me, giving me time to look for the best alternative.
