Windows 10 Home works with as much as 128GB of memory, whereas Windows 10 Pro can handle up to 2TB. Use 64-bit now—32-bit is no longer required.

Someone running Windows 10 typically does so on standard PCs rather than servers or Linux, especially when the system has plenty of RAM.

You can upgrade directly to Windows 10 Pro using the retail version you already have. Installing from a USB is common, and Microsoft generally supports this method. For official sources, stick to trusted retailers or Microsoft’s own website to ensure compatibility and security. Avoid unofficial sites to protect your system.

Maybe some people could benefit from extra RAM in certain scenarios, avoiding the high cost of Windows Server licenses. Check out the pricing details on Microsoft's site and the licensing calculator for Windows 2019.

It might have been in its younger years, but now it has grown significantly with regular updates.

Cost isn't appearing to be involved; 2TB of RAM would be extremely expensive. I think its purpose could be as a large memory storage unit under 10, but that's about it.

From a user's perspective, things have actually gotten worse. Of course, the system won't break down or your data will be lost after an update—what a relief.

It was an error on Microsoft's side, but they acknowledged it. They've taken lessons from it and it hasn't occurred again with the 1903 update (though I'm not sure). Sometimes individuals exaggerate small issues into big problems, and people often focus on complaints for attention.

Win10 in the personal area isn't ideal, yet it performs worse in the professional setting. We oversee more than 1,000 devices and are evaluating Nix as an alternative since Windows 10 poses significant challenges within our niche environment.
