The process of selecting a file system makes me feel a bit uncertain. As someone who has used Linux for years, I consistently choose the ext4 system. What file systems do others use and what motivated your decision? As mentioned before, I have relied on ext4 with Linux all along. Recently, I realized this might stem from limited knowledge of other options, prompting me to explore alternatives. BTRFS stands out in my opinion. Choose Linux Mint for this scenario. Among the numerous users I’ve met—around 50 to 70—I haven’t seen anyone utilizing or familiar with the Terminal. For Ext4, it works on Linux too. What’s the reason?
