The process of selecting a file system makes me feel a bit uncertain. As someone who has used Linux for years, I consistently choose the ext4 system. What file systems do others use and what motivated your decision? As mentioned before, I have relied on ext4 with Linux all along. Recently, I realized this might stem from limited knowledge of other options, prompting me to explore alternatives. BTRFS stands out in my opinion. Fortunately, I’m in the right place and eager to hear your thoughts.

I noticed the formatting changed the display. Could you clarify where you copied it from? That should help adjust the size and appearance properly. For Windows users, a GUI interface would be ideal.

The topic title should focus on "file system" rather than "operating system." It would be more appropriate for the Linux subforum.

Choose Linux Mint for this scenario. Among the numerous users I’ve met—around 50 to 70—I haven’t seen anyone utilizing or familiar with the Terminal. For Ext4, it works on Linux too. What’s the reason?

I've worked with various Linux distributions on different machines, and I haven't really considered the file systems being used. The default settings have always worked for me.
