are the costs really steep? examined the market and current prices look quite reasonable. when i purchased my 32gb ddr4 ram back in 2017, i spent 400 euro, whereas today 32gb ddr4 is around 150 euro, 32gb ddr5 is about 200 euro, and 64gb ddr5 costs roughly 400 euro. if we factor in inflation over eight years, 400 euro from 2017 would be worth approximately 530 euro today, which still makes prices seem more affordable.
