The NT-H2 offers slightly cooler temps compared to NT-H1. Both perform well as pastes, and there seems to be no noticeable distinction between them. The NT-H2 comes at a higher cost, but if you prefer it over the kryonaut, it’s worth considering. I opted for NT-H1 since Noctua has a 10g tube available on Amazon at about $13 back then.
I've liked working with nano-diamond pastes. Antec Formula 7 and Formula 6 have been reliable for years, especially in direct die cooling. Probably not the top choice, but under LN2 they haven't frozen or cracked, which is a plus. At normal temperatures, it's likely close to 1°C from the next best paste.
I discovered the kryonaut dries out fast in a dry environment. For the lowest long-term temperature, consider selecting materials or locations with stable, cool conditions.
I haven't encountered this before, especially outside of Conductonaut. Maybe I'm being taken for granted?

I recall when he was just starting out with EOCF... well, he's made a lot of progress nonetheless. ----- All the pastes mentioned will stay effective for about five years if left alone.

They tend to stay within about a degree or two of one another. @rickje139 choose the most affordable option from a recognized brand. Checking reviews from sites like gamers nexus shows the temperature difference between top and bottom products is roughly 5 degrees (using standard pastes)
I gotta tell you there's almost absolutely no difference between IC diamond and Antec formula 7. They look far apart on the list, but it's deceiving. 1-2c would be margin of error in testing thermal pastes. Some pastes setup better than others and push out better. Some pastes like a "burn in" time, some require it (AS5) I buy the diamond stuff cause I like to brag my PC is diamonds and gold (but it actually is )
