It was strange, all parts of my system were functioning properly, I hadn’t altered the BIOS or anything similar. The issue appeared to be connected to the BIOS itself, since switching to the backup BIOS restored it to working order.

I saw information about a fix for SecureBoot, but it was already active in my BIOS. My drivers are current, and the audio problem still persists.

I’m enjoying this aspect so far. The main highlight is seeing the desktop once logged in. While it might seem like a small detail, it feels intuitive to me. This is the Windows I’ve always appreciated. Plus, I use the desktop a lot, so the Start button adds value but feels a bit forced—it’s not the traditional start button we’re used to. I appreciate the option to display your desktop background on the Start menu. It makes switching between the desktop and the Start screen feel smoother, avoiding the feeling of managing two separate systems.

8.1 shows Microsoft still trying to push their UI ideas forward, but it seems some people aren't on board. The Start Menu is coming back!

It seems a better option might exist compared to Windows 8, yet I’m unable to upgrade... Apparently, my system is compatible with Windows 8 but can’t move to Windows 8.1...
