Regarding the 5070 Ti versus 9070 XT price comparison, if they're within 10%, the 5070 Ti remains the better option without doubt. Otherwise, the decision mainly depends on the specific features and game performance you prioritize.

In my case, I don't play much in competitive titles, so I upgrade video cards more frequently. CPU constraints were the main reason for my previous platform upgrade, and I haven't planned a video card replacement anytime soon.

I wouldn't agree. If they were on a 1700X but just a few generations ahead, would a newer CPU make a difference? Yes. But since they aren't using a 5090, the maximum performance limit set by the CPU will remain similar to the 5070Ti.

The problem lies in many people testing CPUs with a 5090, which doesn’t show clearly that a 9800X3D could outperform a 9600X unless you’re using top-tier hardware at 1080p. It’s strange to see non-X3D CPUs exceeding 150FPS with a 5090.
