BO2. Amazing game, great port. COD4 would be recommended if the server for the server list hadn't shut down, so it;s a pain in the arse to get into a multiplayer game :L (you have to look up server IPs and then use the console )

Ghosts and AW are the best choices if you want to avoid a lot of hackers and compromised lobbying efforts. Your stats won’t be ruined by them. Just pick the one that seems most appealing to you.

It depends on your goals and the group you're playing with. BO2 or MW2 for multiplayer. Adding DLC for zombies is great for those who enjoy them. For custom zombie maps, I'd suggest BO2 since it's a solid PC title and works well. If you're into zombies, DLC would be nice. The non-DLC maps are okay but not the best choice.
