It should work as long as your RAM OC stays steady. You might be able to reach 3600MHz CL16 with enough effort. Consider using DRAM Calc 1.7.3.

This specific Ram model employs Micron B dies, not Samsung B dies. I attempted to set the frequency to 3600MHz for Micron, but it only accommodates up to 3466MHz.

I’m new to Micron B-die projects. I own a Micron E-die and it runs at a very high frequency almost without trouble. Would trying 3466MHz work? Perhaps you could give it a shot if you’re willing to invest the time and enthusiasm.

Sure, I’ll try this again with a clearer approach. It seems adjusting tRC, tRRDS, and other settings via the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen often leads to crashes and BIOS resets. I double-checked all voltages and options, but the only time I skip it is when trying to OC. That setting is unclear—could it be in the BIOS menu? It might explain why I’m missing the calculated specs.

BGS placement should be in AMD Overclocking -> AMD CBS -> UMC Common Options -> DRAM Memory Mapping. This affects stability more than performance, usually values between 40-60 ohms yield optimal results. Make sure DRAM ECC is disabled in AMD CBS -> CPU Common Options -> ECC = Disabled. Set the voltage to half of your DRAM voltage. Use VPP_MEM Voltage at 2.5V, or slightly higher like 2.51V or 2.52V to counter voltage drop.

AMD Overclocking and AMD CBS are distinct settings in this (Asrock) BIOS. Under AMD Overclocking you find four choices: 1. ECO Mode 2. Precision Boost Overdrive 3. LN2 Mode 4. Soc/Uncore OC Mode. For AMD CBS there are two options: 1. CPU Common Options – i) Core Performance Boost ii) Global C-state Control 2. NBIO Common Options – i) IOMMU ii) HD Audio Enable BGS is not available; it seems to be a name that doesn't exist, just looked similar elsewhere.

Some motherboards lack certain features listed in the DRAM Calc section. However, if Bank Group Swap isn't available, it means it's absent as well.

Absolutely, that's correct. I'm going to bypass it. I'll just adjust the speed to 3466, configure the basics, and let the system handle the rest. Lol.
