What are our goals?
Skyrim has been around for more than four years, right? That makes it a great moment to talk about what we hope for in the upcoming update. What aspects need improvement? Which new locations would be exciting? Share your ideas—this isn’t just casual guessing, but our own thoughts. I’d love to see more co-op, though that’s not widely supported based on what I’ve seen.
A huge amount of content. Mostly an engaging tale with plenty of exploration, intriguing side missions, meaningful choices, and everything you do should count. It doesn’t make sense to be the leader of Winterhold’s college while also being part of the companions, the dark brotherhood, and wearing Daedric armor that still labels you as a milk drinker or something similar. And great modding support, of course.
The factions in Skyrim really missed the mark, and the main narrative felt quite flat. I found myself skipping over the quests that involved stealing Elder Scrolls from the Thieve’s Guild in Oblivion—those moments seemed almost irrelevant here. The Dark Brotherhood’s hideout also lacked the mysterious ambiance of being tucked behind an abandoned house, opting instead for a more direct entrance. It didn’t feel like a fitting spot for shadowy operatives. I’d love to see their story woven into different regions of Tamriel, rather than confining it to just one continent.

A think a better engine is high on the list. One thing I'd like more than anything is more movement options to open up different playstyles. Rolling and dodging, climbing/parkour, magic based movement, better horses, dwarven vehicles, controllable, ridable dragons, etc. Simple things like being able to fire an arrow or spell in mid-fall or jump, and stringing together attack combos with melee weapons would be an amazing addition to the game.
