I wrapped up my latest build a few days back and headed over to test it out. I cranked everything up in Crysis 3 and hit maximum settings. At around 35 fps, everything looked great when stationary but moving felt pretty lackluster—I didn’t want to be stuck on a console. I adjusted my aim settings, lowering AA to 8x msaa (though I might’ve miscalculated) and suddenly I was getting solid 60 frames. My question is: if you had to pick an AA setting, what would it be?

What's the top-tier setting in games? I'm using forced 4x MSAA on my Droid Maxx.

It varies based on the game content. Usually it's Txaa if possible.

None or double the cost wouldn't justify the performance drop.

If you're concerned about performance loss, FXAA is a good option. TXAA works as my usual setting. You can find more details in this article: http://lifehacker.com/how-anti-aliasing-...1640944916
