I go with 4 times because I don’t notice a difference between 4x, 6x, and 8x. If 4x causes too much FPS, I just switch to 2x.

I really assumed you were discussing batteries, but I didn’t mean AA. My APU won’t work that way.

I really don’t think everyone’s main concern is FXAA, although there are other better choices. Usually I pick SMAA or TXAA when they’re available. Perhaps my vision isn’t sharp enough to notice the blur.

Essentially, I’ll stick with 4x but often opt for lower settings or FXAA. I like the FPS improvement, though some games feel bothersome with too many jagged lines when no AA is enabled.

the only moments i notice sharp lines are when i play with my friends, otherwise they're improving without any rough edges.
